The Hopkins Population Center (HPC) stimulates and facilitates original research that combines the core strengths in social science, public health, and biostatistics in emerging areas of population dynamics research. The HPC promotes cutting-edge methodology that integrates demography, population health, and data science. The HPC prioritizes the nurturing of early-career faculty associates. This mission is based on the significance and innovation of three research areas: Poverty and Inequality; Sexual and Reproductive Health; and Family, Maternal, and Child Health.
