The Guttmacher Institute is a leading research and policy organization committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in the United States and globally in ways that help create more just and equitable societies. We position SRHR as essential to the achievement of health and development goals; examine the social determinants of health to make disparities visible; and elevate the centrality of rigorous science and empirical evidence in the public discourse.
The Guttmacher Center for Population Research Innovation and Dissemination enhances the quality of research carried out at the Institute by providing opportunities for interdisciplinary idea generation, innovation in research approaches, building the skills of a new generation of scientists, and encouraging collaboration with external colleagues. It also ensures that the Institute’s work and data are made available to a wide range of audiences
